What: Exclusive media tour of this year's much anticipated Melbourne Winter Masterpieces exhibition Art Deco 1910-1939. This is the first access for all media to view inside the exhibition space before it opens to the public on Saturday 28 June 2008.

Vision:Over 300 Art Deco delights including breathtaking jewels from Cartier's historic collections in Geneva; exquisite fashion by Chanel; the original Strand Palace Hotel foyer saved from destruction by the V&A in 1969 and reassembled here in Melbourne; and for the first time ever at the National Gallery of Victoria, a superb vintage car, the Cord 812 Westchester sedan.

Art Deco 1910-1939 is coming exclusively to Melbourne from London's famed Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) and is the fifth exhibition in the Melbourne Winter Masterpieces series at the NGV. It is the most comprehensive exhibition ever staged on one of the most glamorous and popular of all artistic styles.
