The mums behind the hit 4 Ingredients are back with a
brand new series for The LifeStyle Channel!
4 INGREDIENTS Series 2
Premiering Thursday 21 May at 7.30pm aest
This exclusive local production is based on the bestselling, self-published 4 Ingredients
recipe books and is a series for anyone who has ever asked... What am I going to cook for
dinner tonight? How can I spend less money at the supermarket, less time in the kitchen and
more time with my kids? How can I have a less stressful and more organised lifestyle?
Co-authors Rachael Bermingham and Kim McCosker return to The LifeStyle Channel this
Thursday night with a brand new six-part series. These two successful business women and
fun-loving Aussie mums with young children are proof that the 4 Ingredients way of life
really works.
"The amazing success of the 4 Ingredients books shows how big the audience is for this
type of program which was further proven with popularity of the first series," said Nicole
Sheffield, General Manager of The LifeStyle Channel. "We are thrilled with the results of the
first series, it increased the ratings for the timeslot by over 40%, with both our viewers and
advertisers loving it."
4 Ingredients became a surprise Australian bestseller in 2007 and has since gone on to sell
over 1,000,000 copies. A second book, 4 Ingredients 2, hit the shelves in September 2008
and went straight to the top of bestseller lists around the country.
Shot around Rachael and Kim's hometown on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, 4 Ingredients
offers inspiration and advice to the time-poor with quick, easy and delicious recipes all made
with just 4 or fewer everyday ingredients and can be made with just 1 cup, 1 tablespoon and
1 teaspoon!
"We aren't chefs or cooks, we are just regular mums, juggling a million things trying to do
the best we can. We wrote a book simply to help us, that it has helped so many others is
FABULOUS!" said Kim McCosker.
"It's exciting to be able to share our fast and fabulous recipes to save time and money in the
kitchen so you can get out and enjoy life," said Rachael Bermingham.
With over 15 recipes in each episode, the new series shows how with some planning and
organisation, you can take the hassle out of meal-times and reduce the stress of busy,
modern living. Find out how to save money on weekly shopping bills and time in the
kitchen.
Screening Thursdays at 7.30pm from 21 May on The LifeStyle Channel, FOXTEL and
