Band Members from INXS Outraged by JD Fortune Claims
When news hit INXS members of the recent JD Fortune interview featured on a Canadian nightly entertainment show, ET this week, the band were shocked and despondent about the comments.
Responding to reports Fortune made that he was supposedly dumped by the band at an airport in Hong Kong, INXS' Creative Director and Global Business Strategist, CM Murphy responded in dismay.
"On behalf of INXS and Petrol Records, I would like to take this opportunity to let the Australian public know how horrified we are by the comments made by JD Fortune." "Not only are we shocked by the claims, even the place the supposed incident was to have taken place is a mystery to the band."
"What annoys me most after viewing Fortunes interview, is the bloody slant he makes towards the founding band members. These guys are the nicest people on this planet, they are not the people he portrays."
"Ever since Petrol Records signed INXS last December, the band have always stated to me that Fortune's services could potentially be contracted again when INXS next tour." "In fact he was next on my list to call regarding a very big recording project I am putting together for INXS at present. I guess I have no reason to call him now!"
Andrew Farriss, Jon Farriss, Tim Farriss, Kirk Pengily and Garry Beers are all in lock down preparing for what is rumored to be the most exciting recording project since KICK.
