"That'll Be The Day" when the anniversary season of Buddy is announced to the Media, and Australians will meet the actors to play Buddy, the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens, with performances by the cast.

Buddy The Buddy Holly Story, a musical celebration of the life of legendary singer / songwriter Buddy Holly, is now playing it's 18th sell-out year in London's West End. This smash hit musical has been seen on Broadway, throughout Canada, America, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

It has won many awards including a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical, The Laurence Olivier Award in London for Best New Musical and Best Actor in a Musical, plus many more awards.

Buddy The Buddy Holly Story will return to Australia to premiere on 3 February 2009, marking the 50th Anniversary of the death of this musical legend...and "the day the music died".

The Media are invited to see sneak preview performances and meet the cast of Buddy The Buddy Holly Story on Monday 11 August at 12 noon in The Ballroom, Level 3, Star City.
