MOVIE EXTRA TROPFEST SCREENS TOP SHORT FILMS UNDER THE STARS

MADFISH WINES are delighted to be hosting for the fifth consecutive year, screenings
of 16 handpicked short films for the national MOVIE EXTRA TROPFEST 2010, under
the stars at both MADFISH wineries in Western Australia.
MADFISH WINES are the national wine sponsor for MOVIE EXTRA TROPFEST, the
world’s largest short film festival and a totally Australian innovation.
The MADFISH screenings are on the WA Labour Day weekend, Saturday 27th and
Sunday 28th
at the Margaret River Winery (Miamup Road – Cowaramup). And in the
Great Southern Region at the Denmark Winery (Scotsdale Road) on Saturday 27th
February only.
The manicured lawns of both wineries will be open from 6.30pm for locals to enjoy a
balmy twilight and evening experiencing for themselves the thrilling work of Australia’s
finest young film makers

Films will begin showing at 8.15pm on giant screens near the cellar doors of both
venues. Bring a picnic rug - you can purchase delicious food on site or bring your own
–
but note, strictly no alcoholic beverages and under 18’s must be accompanied by a
legal guardian. Bookings are essential. Entertainment is provided prior to screenings.
