Hilton Hotels Australasia launches new events concept
Sydney, Australia
-
Tuesday
1st
September
2009
Three celebrity chefs, three new
celebrity inspired event menus. Hilton Hotels Australasia has launched the latest concept in
event catering Celebrity Inspired Events Menus. The menus, which have been created by
Hiltons award winning chefs Luke Mangan, Simon Bryant and Ramon Freixa, will establish a
new standard in event catering by offering seasonal produce and seamless delivery, creating
consistent event catering standards with celebrity chef designed
event menus available at
eight Hilton Hotels in Australia and New Zealand.
Developed around four core principles, the concept offers Hiltons clients high quality menus
which
are Sumptuous -
showcasing seasonal produce in unique menus designed by our
internationally acclaimed chefs; Seamless - providing e-menus with detailed images of the
dishes available, giving event organisers the opportunity to see exactly how each dish will be
served; Seasonal
-
menus which
change
with the seasons, offering the freshest
local
produce and
healthy, sustainable
choices; Celebrity inspired
offering a selection of
dishes created by Hiltons own celebrity chefs Luke Mangan, Simon Bryant and Ramon
Freixa.
Ashley Spencer, Vice President Hilton Hotels Australasia, was thrilled to launch the concept
and commented Hilton
Hotels in Australasia are the only place in the region to have three
celebrity chefs as the creative force behind their events menus. When we were developing
the concept we wanted a product that would give our clients the best possible opportunity to
create unique and outstanding events. Simon, Luke and Ramon are delighted to make their
food concepts and favourite dishes available for Hiltons events clients and they all consider
this concept an innovative move in the right direction for catering seasonal menus offering
variety and creativity, exceeding a standard event menu.
Each menu reflects the chefs unique style of cooking; Lukes menu highlights his trademark
simplicity and elegance,
with the food being prepared using classical French techniques.
Simons menu reflects his passion for local produce and his
Seriously South Australian
food concept. Ramon brings international flavour to the offering, a Michelin Star Chef whose
passion is Catalan inspired cuisine.
Hilton Hotels Australasia Celebrity Inspired Event Menus are now available at Hilton Cairns,
Hilton Brisbane, Hilton Sydney, Hilton Melbourne
Airport, Hilton on the Park
Melbourne,
Hilton Adelaide, Parmelia Hilton Perth and Hilton Auckland. Contact details for each hotel

trademarks. Making the most of Sydney's abundant resources, his emphasis is on fresh, local and
seasonal produce prepared utilising classical French techniques.

the States finest produce to hotel guests, as well as members of the public. Simons passion for
cooking is evident in his cooking classes held in Hilton Adelaides main kitchen, guest appearances at
the Adelaide Central Market, regional farmers markets and his television national series, The Cook
