One wedding, two engagements and a baby…

The Nine Network’s The Farmer Wants a Wife is again on the search

for Aussie singles!

The Nine Network’s hugely successful reality show, The Farmer Wants a Wife, is returning in 2010 for it’s fifth

season and is calling single men and women of Australia, looking for love to apply for a new batch of eligible

both male and female farmers.

The Farmer Wants a Wife is a heart-compelling, feel-good story of love and romance.  This is not a

competition. There's no prize money and the only winner in the end... is LOVE.  We simply follow the story of

our Aussie farmers, as they explore new relationships and try to find their soul mate.

In 2007 Farmer Chris met the women of his dreams, Kim and a year later were married. In 2009 Farmer Chris

and wife Kim celebrated the birth of their first baby, Charlotte.  In 2008 Farmer Rob fell in love with Jo and their

wedding plans are well under way. Series four favourite Brad experienced love at first sight with Stacey and

they are planning to marry in March 2010.

Twelve farmers have been selected including two female farmers for the shortlist. From the profile that our

potential husbands and wives send in, each farmer will pick six men or women they would like to meet and

taken on a speed date. After the initial meeting, three potential wives or husbands will be chosen to visit the

property for a ten day farm-stay.

Now is not the time to be shy, this is a rare opportunity to meet genuine, hardworking Aussie men and women

of the land, who are sincere in their quest for a love and a life long partner.

The website will be live until 9am, 7th December 2009
