Water Safety Education Day to reduce drownings in Australia
On Thursday, 14th January 2010, the TV stars from Bondi Rescue will join forces
with Jamberoo Action Park for a crucial Water Safety Education Day.
Last year, Australia experienced a staggering 14% increase in drowning deaths
and from this, 11 deaths were in children aged between 5 and 14.*
In a bid to reverse this trend, Jamberoo Action Park’s Water Safety Education
Day
will educate and provide hands-on skills for Aussie kids to become more
water wise and competent in the water from a young age.

Bondi Rescue Lifeguards & an anticipated 4,000 Australian kids and
their families.
What:
The Bondi Rescue lifeguards will educate the children on water
safety, hold life saving and resuscitation demonstrations in Outback
Wave Pool and of course join in all the fun on Jamberoo’s favourite
water slides!
