The Parliamentary Secretary for Health,

as Chair of the
Australia and New Zealand Food Regulation Ministerial Council
will hold a media doorstop tomorrow (Friday) following the conclusion of
the Ministerial council meeting to announce the establishment and
members of a new, independent Review Panel into food labelling law and
policy.
Clear food labelling laws are vital to consumers and to industry and are a
vital part of ensuring that the public has accurate and informative
information about the nutritional value and contents of packaged food.
