         Local office provides business and marketing support to Greater

announced the opening of its representative office in the People's Republic

of China. Located in Shenzhen, a major hub of manufacturing of multimedia

products and high-tech industry in China, the office provides DivX with a

stronger market presence in the Greater China region, including China, Hong

Kong and Taiwan.




    DivX has taken the lead in developing digital media technology that

delivers a true cinematic viewing experience in a secure, easily downloadable

and portable format. Digital videos in the DivX(R) format can be viewed on

the more than 250 million DivX devices that have shipped into the market,

which now include TVs, DVD and Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and a

variety of mobile devices.
