   SHENZHEN:  At 16:00 on November 21st, the successful 6-day China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) 2009 ended.

The closing ceremony was held in the multi-functional pavilion of Hall 5 of the Shenzhen Convention &

Exhibiton Centre (SZCEC), hosted by Ren Zhiwu, deputy director of the Department of High-tech Industry of

the National Development and Reform Commission of the PRC.

   BRISBANE: Thailand's Sawan Baan Na (Agrarian Utopia) has won the UNESCO Award for outstanding

Screen Awards - the region's highest accolade in film in 2009 - announced tonight on the Gold 

Coast, Queensland, Australia.

   BRISBANE: Republic of Korea has claimed three Asia Pacific Screen Awards - the region's highest accolade

in film - including the Best Performance for an 

Actress Award to Kim Hye-Ja for her powerful performance in Madeo (Mother).

   BRISBANE: Japan's Masahiro Motoki has won the Best Performance by an Actor Award at the third annual

Asia Pacific Screen Awards - the region's highest accolade in film in 2009 - for his leading role in Okuribito
