This Mexican production company managed to unite thousands of people at

the ceremony leading up to the Grito de la Independencia, on the evening of

the September 15th, 2009. This was an event easily enjoyed from the capital's

Zocalo plaza, demonstrating our people's warmth, color, joy and festivity

that we are renowned for worldwide, and above all showing that we remember

our history and what it represents to Mexicans.

This production demonstrated to people from all over the world that

Mexico is not only a country of constant development, which aims to be at the

global vanguard in the production of first rate shows, but that it is also a

country that knows its own roots and has pride in its culture and traditions.

Vivace Producciones is a 100% Mexican company, uniting Mexican talent and

production in a global multimedia spectacular. This is an exercise in

cultural integration, promoting the values and traditions of Mexico over our

200 years as an independent country. "Mexico en el corazon" examines and

emphasizes our history, and looks ahead to the future of a modern Mexico.

This Mexican production was enjoyed live by more than 900 thousand people

and was watched by millions more via television and internet. It employed

more than 500 people, including Mexican artists, operators, engineers,

producers, creative staff and technicians.

Vivace Producciones successfully created an innovative spectacular in

three acts:

    - First act: A projection of celebrities and personalities sending

greetings to the people and expressing their pride at being Mexican.

    - Second act: Viewers invited to go on a moving journey through Mexico's

history, through its faces, via a projection on various screens,

including a giant screen made of treated water.

    - Third act: The Palacio Nacional is lit up; it takes on a life of its

own and moves into original arrangements via optical illusions that amaze

onlookers. The building recalls the past and its own origins through the

movement of its very bricks, decorating itself in flowers and becoming,

for a few seconds, part of the traditions and color of Mexico.

Thanks to the most advanced modeling technology, the Palacio Nacional

travels back through the eras and the most emblematic moments in Mexican

history. Lasers in the sky and pyrotechnics close the show and an

unforgettable experience for those who witness it.

To allow those people who could not attend the show on September 15th,

the event was repeated on the 17th, 18th and 19th of September, 3 times daily

as of 8:30pm, attracting a record number of people to Mexico City's Zocalo.
