Digital stories are mini-films. They are personal
narratives that offer short takes on everyday life and
personal history.
A two-minute story could change your
life!
In January, UK youth media organisation Hi8us began their partnership
with ICE and the British Council to bring their global digital storytelling
project Digitales to Australia.
Eight young media artists were introduced to the art of digital
storytelling and went on to become the Digitales trainers. Since then,
ICE has supported 100 young people from across Western Sydney to
tell their (digital) stories. Join us as we screen a selection of these real-
life tales, and meet the emerging media talent behind these impressive
stories.
- Finding solace in a long lost teddy bear
- Journeying treacherous seas to escape war
- How a broken MP3 player can make An Inconvenient Love
- Learning youre as Australian as Vegemite on Lebanese
