circle phase loop
In this RMIT University exhibition, Dominique Dunstan, Judy Jones and Ko Sonnoy
address some of the fundamental human experiences of being in the world
growth, struggle, harmony and the passing of time.
Diverse media present the visual field, the trace left by gestures and the use of the
body to describe a shared sense of engagement and connection to the world.
Organic processes of permutation and recombination inform an ongoing
experience of physical and psychological space, at once familiar and constantly
evolving.
The leitmotif of these explorations is the circle defining our field of perception,
sphere of knowledge, patterns of behaviour or the recurring challenges life
delivers.
