Melbournes only Glass Education facility - the Monash University's Department of
Fine Arts Glass Studio, which opened in 1980, will celebrate its 30
th
year of operation
today at Federation Square.

Kirra Galleries, based at Federation Square,
presents the fourth annual Monash Momentum
exhibition focused on Masters and Mentors,
examining the diversity, artistry and glass making
techniques of the thirty artists who graduated from
Monash University's Department of Fine Arts
Glass Studio over the past thirty years.
The exhibition, featuring some of Australias major
contemporary glass artists as well as new
graduates, will be open for a media preview.
