RMIT Graduate Exhibitions Launch and Preview
One of the biggest art and design festivals in the Southern Hemisphere will kick off
tomorrow (7 October) with the official launch of RMIT Universitys 2008 Art, Design
and Multimedia Graduate Exhibitions.
The annual festival is one of Melbournes top cultural showcases, with up to 50
exhibitions of RMIT student work taking over galleries across the city for over six
weeks and attracting thousands of visitors each year.
A laneway near RMITs City campus will be temporarily converted into an open-air
public gallery for the launch, which will feature some of the best work from the
2008 graduate exhibitions.
This years program will be launched by RMIT Vice-Chancellor and President,
Professor Margaret Gardner AO at 10am on Tuesday, 7 October.
Graduating students from a range of programs including fashion, photography,
