Official ratings start on Sunday but free-to-air TV networks have already launched

some of their big guns for 2009.

Dr Vincent O’Donnell is a lecturer in RMIT University’s School of Applied

Communication.


Dr O’Donnell frequently comments on television programming trends and ratings.


He has worked for many years as a producer and director in television and film and

is a past president of the Producers and Directors Guild of Victoria and former

executive producer at Film Victoria.
