SYDNEY MEETS ITS TWO NEWEST ROYALS
THE ROYAL RANDWICK PRINCESS AND PRINCE ARE CROWNED
Sydney, Saturday 4th October, 2008: Earlier today, a new Princess and Prince
were crowned at Royal Randwick Racecourse. The Search, which began in
September, for the ambassadors of the 2009 Autumn Carnival culminated today
with the final judging taking place during Fashions On The Field at the Arrowfield
Stud Super Saturday race day.
Under the watchful eye of Sydney’s racing fraternity Lisa Clark and Angus Beattie
were announced as the winners of the annual search by fashion and style guru
Melissa Hoyer.
The celebrity judging panel putting the contestants through their paces included
CH10’s Biggest Loser trainer – Shannan Ponton, Kate O’Shea – face of TV.com, Toby
Osmond – Polo Lounge and Supper Club and the face of Bondi Blonde, model Jaime
Wright.
The Search for two loyal subjects took place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday
evenings in Sydney’s hottest night spots during September. Spotters searched
Cargo, Bungalow 8, The Loft and Fringe Bar for the future faces of Autumn Carnival
2009.
Aside from receiving the titles of Princess and Prince of Royal Randwick and
featuring in the 2009 campaign, Lisa and Angus will act as ambassadors for a period
of 12 months.
Our winners will also receive Emirates business class return flights to Bangkok,
three nights accommodation at the Marriott Hotel in Bangkok, a SHARP 42 inch LCD
TV and a $1000.00 Farage gift voucher.
Our Princess will also have her hair and make-up for all future official engagements
created by the beautiful new day spa Del-Aqua Hair and Beauty Salon.
