On Wednesday October 28, the highly anticipated musical event, Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT, will have
its Australian Premiere
in Sydney. Michael Jackson fans
will
line the red-carpet in costume
for the
opportunity to win tickets to be the first to see the film with celebrity guests and VIPs at the Premiere
screening. The first public sessions of Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT will be held immediately following the
Premiere at 9.00pm in cinemas nationally.
Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT captures the singer, dancer, filmmaker, architect, creative genius, and great
artist at work as he creates and perfects his final show. Kenny Ortega, who was both Michael Jackson's
creative partner and the director of the stage show, is also directing the film.
Due to the high demand in advance ticket sales, more sessions and more cinema locations have been
added to accommodate the huge interest from the public. Since going on sale on September 27, Michael
Jackson’s THIS IS IT
has broken records for advance ticket sales in Australia. In this short time, it has
exceeded the life-time pre-sales of such blockbusters as Transformers, Twilight & The Dark Knight. Tickets
