WARDROBE HUNGRY FASHIONISTAS

CLAMBER FOR TOP PRIZE

‘A good model can advance fashion by ten years’, famously said the

late Yves Saint Laurent. With this in mind, Chupa Chups’ first ever

global mascot CHUCK and his entourage tripped the light fantastic to

attend Sydney’s ‘Fashion Forward Festival’ last weekend in search of

talent to model CHUCK’S ‘Life Less Serious’ mantra.

Wardrobe hungry fashionistas created their own ‘Life Less Serious’

moment at the Chupa Chups Media Wall – all in the dream of getting

their hands on a brand spanking new Torino Scooter and designer

wardrobe valued at $1,000.

Surrounded by the collections of Sydney’s talented young designers,

guests needed little encouragement to get involved and strut their

stuff in front of the lens (and amused crowds).

The resulting pictures and footage are an ocular treat bursting with

flavor for eyeballs to feast on, and capture the essence of CHUCK’S

fun-loving spirit and the zest for life that he hopes to impart his

growing legion of fans.

Highlights from the three day festival included So You Think You Can

Dance performers who gave the models a run for their money; Models –

shock horror - devouring Chupa Chups between shows and the general

outrageousness that seems to follow CHUCK wherever he goes…

The results are probably best expressed through the pictures and

videos themselves; so with that in mind, we’ll sign off soon and let

them do the talking.

The winner of the new wardrobe and Torino Scooter was Sydney

entertainer, dancer and fashionista extraordinaire, JD, who was drawn

from the flurry of entrants showcased on the Life Less Serious

gallery - as you can see, he had some stiff competition – more on
