 *****MEDIA ALERT***** BUDDING CHEFS BATTLE IT OUT TO BE THE VICTORIAN GOURMET AUTHORITY Anolon Cookware and Matt Moran search for Victoria’s Gourmet Authority with a public ‘cook-off’ The two Victorian finalists for the Anolon Cookware and Matt Moran’s search for the Gourmet Authority competition will battle it out in a public ‘cook-off’ at the Doncaster Shopping Centre on Saturday 14th November at 12.30pm to secure a place in the national final in Sydney. For the past month, Anolon cookware and Matt Moran have been encouraging Australians to unleash the ‘gourmet within’ by entering the details of their signature recipe online at www.anolon.com.au for the chance to win a cooking experience of a lifetime. The two finalists, Lisa Johnson and Nick Voulanas both from Melbourne will battle it out in front of a panel of judges to be crowned the Victorian winner. The Victorian winner will then be cook at a dinner party for panel of celebrities and media where the finalists from each state will be whittled down to the final three contestants. The final three, will then fly to Sydney to compete in the national final taking place on the 28th of November where the overall winner will win a cooking experience of a lifetime including a masterclass at ARIA restaurant with Matt Moran. Lisa Johnson and Nick Voulanas will recreate their signature dishes on stage by the main entrance of Doncaster Shopping Centre and will invite members of the public to try the dishes and provide the recipe and ingredients. On the spot prizes including Anolon cookware can be won by members of the public simply by attending and cheering on their state finalist.
