Coles recalls Smart Buy hamburger patties

Coles Supermarkets is conducting a voluntary recall of the Smart Buy Frozen 20
Hamburger Patties 1kg pack, with a Best Before date of 22 APR 2010.

The product is being recalled from all Coles, Bi Lo and Pick `n' Pay stores and Coles Online, as metal fragments may be found in some product.

The recall applies only to the above product with the nominated size and best before date. No other Coles products are affected by this recall.

Customers are encouraged to check in their homes to ensure they do not have any of the affected product. If found, customers should not eat this product, but return it to their nearest Coles, BI-LO or Pick 'N Pay stores for a full refund.

Coles Supermarkets takes its product quality responsibilities very seriously. This recall is being undertaken to ensure the safety of our customers, to ensure we maintain the highest possible standards of product quality and safety at all times.
