JANE KENNEDY’S FABULOUS FOOD MINUS THE BOOMBAH TO BE
PUBLISHED IN EUROPE AND THE UNITED KINGDOM
Hardie Grant Books is delighted to announce that Jane Kennedy's Fabulous Food Minus the
Boombah will be published throughout Europe and the United Kingdom in 2010, following the early
success of the book in Australia. The cookbook, Kennedy’s first, has achieved outstanding results,
selling beyond expectations, particularly in what has been a hugely competitive Christmas market.
Hardie Grant CEO Sandy Grant attributes the success of Fabulous Food Minus the Boombah to
the recipes and the unique way Jane has written them. ‘Jane's book and indeed her food has
immediate resonance with a very large market - and obviously this is not limited to Australians. We
have been discussing her book with our UK and European partners and it will be launched in the UK
this June. We are really confident that the concept and the recipes will find a good market quickly
and we think this could be the start of a serious career as a food author’.
Author Jane Kennedy has responded "I've been thrilled by the reaction to the book. It'll be great to
try out my non-boombah vibe on another country, although I suspect there are parts of the UK
where I may be arrested."
Fabulous Food, Minus the Boombah (Hardie Grant Books, RRP $39.95 paperback) was released
in Australia on October 28, 2009.
