Thailand is Ready to Make “THAIFEX—World of Food ASIA 2009” Asia’s Premier Food

Thailand is all prepared and ready to organize THAIFEX – World of Food ASIA 2009.
The country is also taking this event as an opportunity to demonstrate to
international visitors its capabilities to become Asia’s premier center of
international expositions on food-related products, services and technologies.
The event promises to feature over 2,100 booths and 1,100 exhibitors who are
leading food entrepreneurs from Thailand and overseas. Food industry

Promotion (DEP), revealed,“The outstanding partnership of the Department of

event organizer Koelnmesse, is once again formulated to ensure that THAIFEX –
World of Food ASIA 2009 will live up to all expectations from May 13th-17th,
2009, at Challenger 2-3, Muang-Thong-Thani, Bangkok, Thailand.
The event aims to offer a one-stop shopping experience for the latest and the
very best in food innovations the world of food has to offer. The highlights not
to be missed are.
• ‘Food Catering’ presents a range of modern kitchenware with sophisticated
technologies, as well as, the service businesses in food industry.
• ‘Food Technology’ showcases advanced machinery used in food production.
• ‘Hospitality Services’ displays hotel equipment and provides helpful advice
on hotel businesses.
• ‘Retail and Franchise’ offers consultation on retailing technologies and
restaurant franchising in overseas markets.
