IBA to hold Indigenous Business forum in Wollongong

Doing Business in our Changing Environment – A business Conversation

Novotel Hotel, North Wollongong


Indigenous Business Australia will be hosting a forum on ‘Doing business in our

changing environment on Wednesday 21 October.


Indigenous business leaders and representatives from the public and financial

sectors will gather to discuss the regional economic outlook for the Illawarra and

South Coast region including issues and opportunities for Indigenous business,

climate change, Social Ventures, Indigenous tourism and land management.


Speakers from the Department of Climate Change, CSIRO Forest Biosciences,

Social Ventures Australia, Illawarra Region Information Services, Jumbulla Aboriginal

Discovery Centre and Indigenous Business Australia will address delegates.


The event will be held at the Novotel Hotel, 2-14 Cliff Road , North Wollongong from

9am to 3.30pm.


Interviews will be available with IBA Deputy General Manager Kaely Woods and

Leah Armstrong board member of IBA and Social Ventures Australia
