(http://www.consumerprosperity.com ) (CAGP) and president of the Institute for Liberty, released the following
statement:
"CAGP commends President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the Navy and the people of Indonesia for rejecting
Greenpeace's attempts to undermine their nation's democracy and opportunity for further economic development.
Now with Greenpeace embarking on the next leg of its Southeast Asian propaganda tour, it is essential that all
other nations in the region join Indonesia in defying the pro-poverty policies espoused by the organization's
waterborne campaigners.
"If other governments follow suit, economic growth and fair competition win, and the arrogant, biased, anti-trade
agenda propagated by Western elites loses. This agenda has been carried out for far too long by supposed non-
profits like Greenpeace, and, given its 'Turn of the Tide' tour's ongoing threats, Indonesia and other countries
should now thoroughly investigate the organizational and tax status of Greenpeace. As the Rainbow Warrior sets
its sights on its next target, we ask the countries of Southeast Asia to tell Greenpeace 'enough is enough'."
activates concerned citizens in response to costly collaboration between environmentalists, protectionist industries,
big labor unions and retail companies. CAGP is an action-oriented alliance of advocacy groups that promotes
economic growth and pro-consumer policies across the world.
