Aurora steps in to help out Western
Australia producers
Following the recent closure of Perths community television
broadcaster Access 31, Aurora Community Channel has stepped up to
support Western Australian producers needing a home for their
programming.
Popular Western Australian-produced programming currently seen on
Aurora Community Channel includes arts show Gallery Watch and local
vox-pop program Perth Talks To CTV.
Aurora Community Channel CEO, Phyllisse Stanton, said that the
channel has been a long-running supporter of local producers.
We remain committed to helping support local producers from Western
Australia following the recent changes in the community television
market there, Stanton said.
Aurora has long been the home of great community programming and
we look forward to continuing to nurture and support local producers
from Western Australia as we do with all other states across the country.
