Accent Publishing wins Best Australian Made Music Award!
Kinder Beat recognised by AMAC - Melbourne, October 2

Accent Publishing, an Australian music publishing company, today announced that its early childhood program, Kinder Beat, won the Best Australian Made Print and Software award at the Australian Music Association Convention (AMAC).

AMAC is Australia's only convention for the music products industry and provides the opportunity for wholesalers, distributors and retailers to showcase their products. It culminates with the AMA Gala Awards Dinner where Awards for Excellence are announced.

Kinder Beat took out the award for Print and Software this year amid tough competition.

"We are so thrilled to have won this award", says Accent Publishing's director, Mark Gibson. "We know that Kinder Beat is a world class program and it's great to receive recognition from the Australian Music Association."
Kinder Beat was launched in 2008 and has had a fantastic response from teachers, parents and students.

"They want more", says Mr Gibson. "Children love music because they enjoy shows such as the Wiggles and Hi 5, yet most early childhood music programs lack the energy and vibrancy found in contemporary music styles". Kinder Beat is designed for children aged 2-4 years. It has a contemporary edge and features many activities that children of the 21st century need for brain development and acceleration. It deviates from traditional approaches to music teaching with its vibrant and engaging array of activities.

Kinder Beat was designed in Brisbane by Mark Gibson and Morna Robinson and has been developed over 15 years. It is enjoying international success in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates. Plans are well under way to launch Kinder Beat in the United States.
The AMA Awards for Excellence recognise achievements in various areas of the music industry, including Australian Made print and software, Australian Made physical product, Best training wholesaler and Best promo electronic.
