MELBOURNE SINGER LAUNCHES DEBUT SINGLE

AFTER WINNING LIGHT FM MUSICAL CHALLENGE

THE WINNER of the Melbourne Christian radio talent search today launches her debut

single.

In October, Vita Adam won the 89.9 Light FM Musical Challenge singing her song Runnin’

in front of 400 people at the Melbourne Conference Centre.

The win sees Vita benefit from more than $5000 worth of professional music industry

services including publicity, vocal coaching, astute management advice, plus the studio

time to record this single.

Vita says Runnin’ is about the race of life.

“It's about living the life that has been set out for me,” Vita suggests.

“Sometimes I may wander off the path and make some poor decisions. Somehow, by

God's grace, I find my way back.

“And because I'm a passionate person, I’m not strolling or walking - I'm Runnin’,” she

adds with a grin from ear to ear.

Light FM’s Program Director Luke Holt says that Vita is an “incredibly talented” performer

who is a “great role model”.

“The winning song Runnin’ is hot, fresh and feel good combined with challenging lyrics

and the right radio sensibilities. It’s the ultimate ‘Turn It Up’ song,” Luke says.

“Playing artists who present such a positive message and perform to a high standard are

very important to Light FM,” he emphasises.

“We want to promote quality Australian artists, positive values, and see more family

friendly events in Melbourne.

“The Musical Challenge is a perfect way to achieve these goals.

“We’re so excited to develop the Musical Challenge and see it turn out to be such a

success,” Luke adds.
