About Cold Chisel

Undoubtedly one of the most successful bands in Australian rock history, Cold Chisel formed in 1973, and

by 1979 were the biggest live draw around Australia. Following the 1983 break-up of the band, the

individual members went on to various, and in some cases, spectacular solo success.

They’ve re-united only twice since, once in 1998 with a #1, multi platinum album The Last Wave of

Summer, and a national sell out concert tour that played to over 150,000 people, the second time in 2003,

for the more intimate "Ringside" tour.
