Performing Extended Suites:

Rage For Order / American Soldier /Empire

Australian audiences will be privileged to be in a position to witness one of the most acclaimed artists in its genre

when Queensrche graces our shores for only their second time. Conducting a world tour on the back of their

latest blockbusting release, "American Soldier", Queensrche has included Australia on its itinerary and will come

down under to perform what will be known as; Extended Suites: Rage For Order/American Soldier/Empire.

Initially grouped with the legions of pop-metal bands that dominated the American heavy metal scene of the

'80s, Queensrche proved to be one of the more distinctive bands of the era. Where their contemporaries built

on the legacy of Van Halen, Aerosmith, and Kiss, Queensrche constructed a progressive form of heavy metal

that drew equally from the guitar pyrotechnics of post-Van Halen metal and '70s art rock, most notably Pink

Floyd and Queen.

Fast forward to March 2009 and the band are still going strong, releasing their latest offering "American Soldier"

to a positive response from fans and critics alike. Based on one-on-one interviews with multiple war vets

(conducted by vocalist Geoff Tate),"American Soldier" showcases a band firing on all cylinders whilst continuing

to explore new sounds.

Having sold over 20 million albums worldwide, Queensrche have amassed a loyal fan base through seminal

releases such as "Operation: Mindcrime", "Rage For Order" and 1990's "Empire".

For any fan that missed out last time, we issue you with a "warning"; do not leave it to the last moment to witness

what will be an outstanding live performance from a truly accomplished artist. Playing to sold out shows in

Melbourne and Sydney and a near on lock out show in Brisbane last time around, this tour will surely see a repeat

of similar magnitude.
