Universal Music Group International Signs Agreement With Qtrax Digital Music Service

Universal Music Group International, a division of Universal Music Group, the world's leading
music company and Qtrax, today announced a licensing deal covering Europe, Asia/Pacific, South
America & Africa. This deal follows a similar recent agreement with Universal Music Group for
North America.
Qtrax showcases an ad-supported delivery model that easily and accurately directs revenue
back to artists and rights holders. Users who download and install the Qtrax client will soon be
able to use it to search for, discover and listen to a colorful and diverse catalog of high-quality
digital music files numbering in the millions. Qtrax will monetize the experience by selling
sponsorships and advertising displayed during the search and download processes. Additionally,
users will have the option to purchase music and related items throughout the Qtrax interface.
