RAIN CAUSES DELAYS TO START OF
V FESTIVAL 08
Due to the issues created by continued wet weather on the Gold Coast,
V Festival organisers have been forced to amend the starting time
to 2.00pm, rather than the originally advertised 12:45pm.
Despite this minor set back, V Festival will still roll into the Avica
Resort at Merrimac on the Gold Coast in all its glory with its full
complement of world class international acts.
Tickets holders for the V Festival who are travelling to the event are
advised to delay their journey to the venue for two hours. GATES
OPEN AT 2.00PM. FIRST ACTS START AT 2.30PM.
Unfortunately, the change in start time means that Donnie Sloan &
Plug in City won't be able to play as scheduled.
TRANSPORT OPTIONS REMAIN THE SAME
Catch the train to Robina Station and join the free* shuttle bus direct
to the V Festival!
V Festival will be running free* shuttle services to / from the Festival
at the Carrara Park & Ride facility, Robina Train Station & Queensland
Avenue, Broadbeach. Shuttle bus is free for V Festival pre-purchased
ticket holders only. Does not include train travel component.
There is NO PARKING at the venue or it’s close surrounds. All patrons
traveling by private vehicles must proceed to the designated Park &
Ride facility at Carrara Stadium.
